All photographers have their niche, their bread and butter so-to-say. When Megan asked me to photograph a newborn session of her daughter I honestly thought, “this is totally not my bread and butter.” I mentioned that I’d like to take more of a documentary approach and shoot the session with a lifestyle feel and I’m so glad she loved the idea! At the end of the day, if we think way back before all of the social media frenzies, people had photos taken to document new seasons in their life.
